2016 Tracking Thread
Ok, My truck is now "In Transit". From here out I will only be able to get updates from my Dealership. Basically, Ford Customer Service is not allowed to give specific details as to the location of the vehicle, rail car #, etc. Thanks to those who answered my calls at Ford Customer Service and to Chad for getting me to this point.
I know "In Transit" could mean anything from sitting at the Ramp waiting to be loaded on a train, to in route, to sitting at a TDSI location waiting to be loaded on a truck. Some on here have waited less than a week, others have waited more than 3 weeks before delivery. Hopefully my dealership will give me the rail car #.

But good luck with that...
Maybe those with the power will make the following a sticky!!

Get this. I called ford service Wednesday to find out the status of my truck. I was told it is still awaiting shipment with no Eta. This morning I drove thru the dealership and there my truck sits. Umm, while I am very happy about this, it makes me wonder what is really going on. That was one fast train delivery. FYI, I live about 400 miles from the plant, and was told they will ship it via train. Oh well, still I'm happy it's here. It was a long wait, as I ordered this thing on Oct 23rd.
Yes. Mine expired 5 or 6 weeks after I received it, well before the truck was due to be delivered. It has since expired. I would wait until two weeks before estimated delivery date then sign in to owners site. Keep in mind that not everyone gets this offer when signing in, appears to be random based on ford marketing's input.

Good Luck!
Hey gang,
I'm getting caught up on my reading, and I wanted to congratulate all my new Ford Fam members on their rigs! Seeing all these beautiful new trucks helps me visualize what I've been conversing with each one of you about over the past couple of months while helping you track your orders. This is truly one of the biggest perks about what I do, and I look forward to working with a new crop of proud owners who are now anxiously awaiting their trucks just as you were.
Now that you're officially part of the family, be sure to browse Ford Owner for tons of helpful information and advice about the newest additions to your garage: http://owner.ford.com/ And, as always, feel free to drop me a line about any questions or concerns you might have. You know where to find me.
