LOL.... nope, just one lot of three quarts.

On a side note, I've been speaking all day via email with the Networking/CCNA instructor at the tech college near my home. I have an appointment to meet with him this afternoon and go over the course - and also see what he'll let me test out of.

It's already been offered to have it paid for by work.... but I don't know. If I do it on my own, I'm not bootstrapped to anyone/anyplace.

I know you guys know that Ford's XL12 is made by Valvoline, so why not buy the Valvoline brand?

LOL, - I guess the confusion is more wide spread than I first thought.

I felt retardo for almost walking out of the store w/2qts of LV. Even after speed reading the back of the bottle. Something just didn't feel right....put the stuff back on the shelf, went back home and googled.... "WTF is MLV"

Yea but... -the newer Motorcraft XL12 bottle looks so much cooler.

But yea, I think it's just Valvoline and Motorcraft that sells the formulation.

I did NOT know that, but am glad to see it, since that's what's in my T/C right now. This reminds me, I need to check the level this weekend. The input seal was leaking at one time, evidenced by low trans fluid, and a gusher when I opened the xfer-case fill port awhile back, so I drained and refilled it with the proper fluid. The last time I checked, though, about 6 months later, all was good. (Seal, heal thyself?) I keep forgetting to look at it again. One of those "if there's no problem, I forget about it" scenarios.

Unless they're going to have you contractually obligated to stay for X period of time after completing the course, I wouldn't sweat it. In most cases, even if there is some sort of "you have to stay X amount of time, or else..." the "or else" is usually "... you have to pay us back."
