Are the tabs already under there, AK? Or do you need to tack weld something in there?

My Buddy asked me to go pull an E4OD at the wrecking yard with him after work today. I called him at 2:30 and he said "oh, I already went and got it --- and I already tore it down".

Geeeez. LOL. Thought I was going to hit the yard again today, but that got shot down.

PM'd you, AK.

For you Escapees, do either of you need a new set of COPS (6)? I bought a set of Globals a number of years back and never installed them. At the time, they were the only ones that people said were decent besides the Motorcraft units, and I think I paid something like $80 for them back then. Before I put these up on eBay, I thought I'd ask.

Hopefully I don't jinx myself but my wife's escape is running good right now.

My little sisters escape not so much; has a miss and rough idle but I don't know when I'll get time to work on hers. Fortunately she's a freshman at college so not allowed a car on campus... Gives me till at least spring break before it really becomes an issue (probably...hopefully?) lol.

Thanks for the offer tho!

Global really ? Do they by chance say GAMMA somewhere on them ? Jeez man how many years ago, closer to a decade perhaps lol. Yea Global was the very first knock-off coil provider, back in 04/05 I think. Yea, just curious, haven't heard the name in quite awhile.

No markings on them except a sticker on the bag: "IC-F005." Had to be within the last 6 years, as I bought them after we moved here. (Just after, if I remember correctly.) I replaced one in an emergency with a used coil, and bought these, then never had another problem.
I wonder if the $25 sets today are as good. Who knows?

EDIT: I found the record. I paid $47.50 for them in 2014. Memory's not firing consistently this evening, I guess.

Been gone a long time and thankfully the Escape went with the Ex but thanks. Hope you all have been doing well.

I finally can afford to start doing some of the maintenance that hasn't been done. Need to redo the upper A arms and considering doing all the steering components as well while I'm at it. Need new tires and windshield as well as fix the leak in the rear window. Started fixing up the mustang as well. When the oil pressure dropped it spun a bearing so new crankshaft, and it had a cracked piston as well. Just waiting for my uncle to have some time so I can go down and finish putting the car back together.
