Well, 2019 is starting off good. I got this on ebay bidding today for 11.50 plus postage. Now I don't need to use a built up harness I made. Much cleaner. I just want to know who blew my 5.00 bid up in the end, lol

Now only 2 things left to get/find. The left windshield cowl panel, and drivers side (gray) A-pillar panel with grab handle and the 4 covers for the bolts.

Bought the Harley heads off eBay for $98 + free shipping. We'll see how they turn out. Will be waiting to put the new light bulbs in until they get here

I was going to look for a cowl for you yesterday, AK. I was going to meet my Buddy with my F150 to pick up a diesel 4R100 yesterday, but he had to throw it in his Cavalier because they closed at 1:30 - and I wasn't off work until 2:30.

I need to find a harmonic balancer for the little 2.3 - my Buddy noticed the rubber is cracking on it. Wish me luck on Ebay, lol.

Thanks for the link AK. I was trying to find one cheaper, lol. I always hit the big 3 (Amazon, RA, and Ebay) for the best deal. Not 100% sure this is the issue with the vibration when it's cold. The vibration started the day before the trans took a crap, so I naturally thought it was something to do with the trans or flexplate. Well.... all of that is new now, and the vibration is present until it gets up to operating temp..... I'll watch for a deal on a dampener and also replace the belt - it still has the original belt with 210K on it (and it still looks really good).

It's funny how weird this thing is. When it sits on a lift for a few days, it's like all the doors shut weird for a bit, and the suspension needs to "settle" again. Unibody's.......

Whitey.....I'd appreciate if you go again, to look for those items if you would. Right now up here, there are very few being parted. These things may die, but they aren't making the yards. Only 2 on Craigslist. This is what I still need, if you get the chance, please.
1. Drivers side windshield cowl cover
2. Grey (preferable, beige if necessary) drivers side A-pillar trim with assist handle.
That's all I need. I'm done with add-ons. Time to put the new wheels on Red and driver the boy around.

I found a nice roll bar, bed mount, for $70. I may go check it out Saturday when he's off. Said it came off a Supercrew. I need to measure the neighbor's bed to see if it will fit before I go see it.

My neighbor asked me about this truck, sight unseen. I told her to buy it and take a chance if it shifted ok, 4x4 worked and the engine didn't knock. It is supposed to have a big oil leak. After a 20 some mile run, I let it sit doe 45 minutes. Backed the truck up, no oil on the ground. Original heated PCV at 156k. Only oil seems to be what was poured on the right one, and front seal weeping. Rear main has a stain, but nothing evident of a big oil leak. Not bad for a grand. It was for sale last week for $5000. It was such a quiet 5.4, shifted right. Score on her part.
