Thinking
Well... from the top the holes for the spider look perfect. Where a crack is most noticeable is when the cam bearing is removed. I have this thing still sitting on a tire, and I don't want to go ***** nilly and try to remove the cam bearing without being able to rotate it. To see cam bearing 4, the freeze plug will need removed.
I need to get my damn hoist back from my friend and put the 351 on the stand. It's a slug where it's at.... I'm about as far as I can get without having it on a stand.
Ohhh.... and PRECISION. That was what was on the box from O'Reilly. The joints with the missing needle bearings are Precision. Pure JUNK. They used to be pretty decent, but I'm done with them.

No problem!
Do any of you fellers have a suggestion for me with my shower? It's fiberglass, and it has some hairline cracks in it. I'd like to find an inlay kit for it, or epoxy the floor (not sure if that works with fiberglass though). The floor is 26 X 52 though, and I can't find anything bigger than 22 X 40 for an inlay. Do any of you know of any good repair kits for it? Cost doesn't matter, lol... I just don't want to have to rip the whole SOB'n bathroom apart for this. Everything else is only a couple years old, so I'd rather repair it.

Yeah, the floor should be set in a bed of mortar, and immovable. If it's actually cracked through, a repair job will most likely only be temporary. Not what you want to hear I know.
I agree (whoops, with jp anyway, I wouldn't install fiberglass over mortar). I didn't think they used those in stick builds, well, not for the floor pan anyway. Good luck with that one white, if you have to get underneath it to get it right....that could ruin your day.

If I gotta get under it, the thing is coming out for good, lol. The floor moves in it, but not much. I've definitely been in worse. I don't know how thick it is,or if it is even leaking through.... there is sheetrock on the ceiling downstairs - which has zero signs of being wet. I would like to think there's a membrane of some sort protecting the wood if it were to leak a bit.
I just don't really want to deal with it at the moment, lol. I might just farm it out and skip the Tropics trip though, LOL. Probably not though, I'm too much of a DIYer.

BTW, if any of you know anyone doing a 351 swap using a T5 with a 10.5 inch clutch, or an older 289/302 doing a T5 swap, this is a killer price. If you use the Promo Code FALLSAVINGS it will knock 20 bucks off too. It has an SFI rating of 21.3 too.

Then put a small trim strip to cover up the holes.
