Yep, boiling water. Doesn't sound like yours is having a hard time opening, but possibly hanging up on its way closed. You might get lucky and be able to see evidence (scratches) like mine did.

I'd just replace the tstat. It's got tons of hot/cold runs, so a new Stainless steel stat would be my thought.

X2 on just replace it. If you already have it out to boil it, there is no sense in putting an old one back in.

Man, the kid can't tell the truth to save his life. Denying what he's done in the same identical way as he did the last time. Hell, wolvezz was much easier to stomach over this guy....even swap ? DEAL!
