I went over to HD to get some shelves and spotted these..... not that I need MORE sockets, but they had 200 Lifetime Warranty sockets for 60 bucks. I couldn't pass it up. They are decent quality too.... better than HF by far.
Husky has been around a long time and they're not bad tools. Considering the cost of the likes of Snap On, this IMO is a much better deal on the wallet.

Agreed. Same warranty and no waiting for the Snap On guy to stop by..... and decide if he wants to warranty it. My Buddy had a Snap On guy that used to be a douche about warranty stuff.

Your post reminded me of a discussion by mechanics I overheard at least 10 years ago about not one of them having a broken ratchet warranty honored by Snap On. Myself, I always figured I could go through 4 or 5 Craftsman tools, if not more before the price of a Snap On tool covered the cost. And, Sears was everywhere then for a no questions ask trade in. I've bought one Snap On tool new in my life and it was a convenience choice of the moment. It was a small 6 inch philips head screwdriver at least 20 years ago and it was more than $10. They need to get over themselves. I can't even remember the last time I saw a Snap On truck?
thanks, I got it back in July after my GMC was totaled in a flood we had. When I bought the truck I got the lift thrown in with it to make sure it didnt flood like my other one.
Soooo.... I was off on Friday and Monday. But I spent a good portion of Friday with a remote connection to work trying to figure out a DNS issue we were having. Spent about an hour, and decided it had to be a hardware issue. I had just decided to make the trip in to SLC when I got a call that said "I don't know what happened, but all the sudden everything came back up". I hate that crap.... no idea what happened, and now everything works again. Later in the day, I got a message from a co-worker asking for a new monitor for a machine in their office. He said, no big deal - it can wait until Tuesday when I got back to work. So I went in there today and when he showed me what machine it was, it just so happens to be the DNS/DHCP server for that part of the network. I guess one of our janitors decided to swap a desk out in the office without being asked, given permission, etc. and when he did unplugged the POE switch and server. When my coworker that asked for the monitor couldn't access the internet or network he went in and put everything back together - and it was then that he discovered that the monitor was defective. And also when the network came back up.
