Yes everything is straight and in order. I have a 11 to 13 drop in my driveway, so it always looks off. When I take the pics with the FX4 wheels, I will take it from a different area.

I took it out the highway today for a 30 mile run. When I got back, I found that the emissions readiness tests were still not fully set. I'll take it back out tomorrow and get any codes that might be set. That will make it easier to locate my 1 cylinder that is missing. I want to see if there are any other codes to deal with. Then I can have it ready for the winter to use. It's almost finished for the season. Springtime will bring a new paint job, and i'll be done with Red.

That's right, that driveway lol.

Short wheel base as well. Wheel gaps look alright. Since I posted last, I took look at mine sitting in the shop. Cabinets are level on the adjacent wall. Top of the bed in the rear does sit it a little higher...not much. Longer WB, I guess it's not as noticeable I don't know..

Takes two full turns of the T-bar bolts per 1/2" with mine. Bolts aren't even either, there's a two turn spread in between the two factory. Just thought I'd through that out here. Are yours the same ?

My motorhome caused most of the divots. That and it is sloped down to clear the water, which isn't a good thing.

I think next year I'll move back out to the lake house. I'll have to get the renters out by May so I can put the boat back on the lake this year. At least I can use the garages to paint lil Red then. It's nice to have good renters, but it is also nice to have the house back for my purposes too.

Lake house....I have to repaint the garage this coming summer, once I get back there.

It must be a location deal. From the looks of things, I think I would have to rent out where your at, and grow roots at the lake house lol. Is the lake house way off the beaten path or something ? Not my business, but jeezzz man, that lake house looks (I've seen your other pics) like something you could spend the rest of your days in. Kick your feet up, wizz off the balcony while your taken in by the sunsets and natural beauty all around the place. Just a thought, one you most likley pondered...except for the wizzing part

So true, but I only pay 400 where I am, and take in 1500 per month for the house. I figure I made almost $30k living here, and not a the lake. That was good money, but now it's time to move back out there.

This year I won't have to pay much home tax on the lake house, since my age now gives me $215k off the assessed value. That means I only have to pay on 47k of it. That takes $3100 a year down to $600. My mobile home is also no more tax this year. It's just me since my wife passed, so I talked myself into renting the one and live in the cheaper place. Why not make a few extra dollars, then give the mobile home to my son. Works for me.

Sounds like you have a good plan. I fully retire in 2.5. A little place in the woods and a new truck, - it'll be a diesel. It's been tooo long, but it'll be worth it I guess. Once you get use to doing without for awhile, scrimping and saving, you realize how little you really need. Looking forward to not having to work on anything but the yard...yard work is relaxing for some reason.....wonder how long all that will last lol.

Unbelievable! My buddy just called me and said he found a set of FX4 wheels for $125 if I wanted them. Oh yeah. I had him pick them up. Turned out to be very clean wheels with centers and 17 factory 14mm capped lugs for them. He lost 3 somewhere. He swears he had them all when he picked them up. lol

It's time to start cleaning out my wheel assortments though. I have 7 sets of rims for the 2 trucks now (5 sets of 17's and 2 of 16's). I'm becoming wheel poor. lol

Thanks Bear. It's been in my life since the 60's so it has sentimental value as well as a nice place to fish off the dock, or go out and boat on the lake. We drive on the lake in the winters, but not nearly as much as years ago. The weather has warmed so much here in the winter, that it gets dangerous to go out at times. In the 2000 winter, we NEVER went below zero at the weather station for the whole winter. Never has that ever happened before. We had more rain than snow that year. Weather be a changing.

Do you think the earth is changing on its axis, or is the star we call our sun starting to heat up towards its inevitable burn out?
