I don't think any of us will be around when the sun burns out.

As far as the turning, yeah I think so. The past 2 years we haven't had hardly any snow (now that I said that, we'll get buried this year). 2014 we had 24 inches total. Last year about 30. No much compared to the 1960-80's when we would get 24 inches overnight at times. I, personally, like the new Anchorage weather. We still get cold and stuff, but our snow load has dropped expeditiously since the mid 90's. I sold my snow plow years ago, and kept a snowblower, which hasn't been used since 2013. I even mowed my grass yesterday.

I throwed the sun in there because i read an article several years ago that said the temp. rise on earth matches the temp. rise in our solar system. Just something to ponder, but i tend to believe the earth is tilting a little more on its axis.

I think we all make those. Actually what made it possible was the job and union pension that came with. Other than that, yea, I've been taking care of those bad financial decisions for the last 20 years or so. Sort of worked it out so those obligations are done, same time I reach retirement. It's all the finacial planning that I really got good at, but I was poor for awhile because of it lol.. Paid my dues, done my time, I'll finally be free lol.

Bless your heart, man!- our pension has so many stipulations on it- and a huge penalty if you go early- but those were consessions that were given to keep the mill open in the past.
Our 401k is only 3% match and its capped.

I think the Earth's axis is shifting because of all the aluminum up there in Alaska. It's shifted the center of gravity and we're tipping over as we speak.
