So at the kidneys then..I believe that's the area you refer. I can't believe I've went this long without one, that being the case. Haven't consumed coffee in about 5 years, use to drink a lot of it, LOT's of it and did that for years. Calcium, I'm not sure about. Milk, probably a glass a day, no alcohol. Carbonated drinks with caffeine is my devil lol. Lack of calcium might be saving me from it, not sure.

I'm with Brew. I don't drink coffee, but have a Coke fountain in my living room. I set that up in 2010, and find that it saves me mucho money over the year. It cost about 37=40 cents a 44 oz drink, so at 1.19 at the Holiday store, I save almost 80 cents a drink. The problem is, it is right there, so it is easy to drink too much. I don't drink alcohol anymore either. I gave that up in the late 80's. I do have a MM card though, so I get my relief in other forms. LOL

The urologist said to drink water with Reallemon juice in it- it acidifies the system and wont let the calcium clump- my wife drinks pepsi (a lot) and shes never had one- maybe its the phosphoric acid in the sodas that break down the calcium(?)

I had to be legal for my back in 2012. There were only 3 doctors in the state that would offer possible support for a card. The one I went to, had only written 7 in 4 years, so he wasn't about to give them out like candy. He took one look at my file, read the med's I had to take, and immediately wrote his recommendation. Since the state voted in 2014 to legalize it overall, the MM cards really don't mean much anymore. They were necessary to keep my particular medical services available. Once I had the card, no more problems.

I hope I never need that stuff for medication, it freaks me out lol. Don't have the brain cells for the stuff I guess. There was one time in my youth though. The room was filled with the stuff and I was watching that flick , The Three Amigos. Funniest darn movie I've ever seen...I lost all composer,- my gut hurt for a week lol.

I'd have to make a point of drinking the water/lemon juice mix. Did he/she say how much of it ? I'd make it regimen to avoid those repercussions I expect.

Tried it once as a teen- no thrill, got a better buzz from beer- there are proven benefits for it in medicine- and how do we know if some of our meds aren't synthetic versions anyway?
