When I got it, the exhaust had a nice sound to it, but when I looked under it, and saw how the prior owner set up the exhaust, it was coming out. Today I'll go get my add on pipes and stick it up under her. Everything is wide open now, so it will be easy to add the new system, without much problem.

Bear.....mine is smooth. The one for my blue is smooth and the one for my 90 SB is smooth. I had one that was textured I put on a 75 F100 SB 4x4, but that was the only textured one I ever owned. It worked as well as the smooth, so I don't really see a difference. They all keep the snow and rain out. Luckily. lol

I wish there were dunes around here to play in. I would have a reason to run some wide tires and put a 302 in my b2 then. Lol

Brew....that is the color I also want to change mine too. That deep red is quite eye catching over the stock fire engine red I have. Nice picture of a nice looking truck. I may lift it some later, right now getting it on the road and worthy is Job 1.

Sounds like your getting there.

Still working on the damn roof, it's a real PITA. The shingles are embedded with each other, almost impossible to separate. That has to be done first to make the repair. I made a tool this morning, a 9" x 4" chisel to get between the dang things. It's no wonder the roofer didn't show up. Unfortunately, this is Job 1 at the moment.

I'd rather be working on the truck.

You can get a 302 in a b2 lol. A lot of guys have little Jeeps w/350's in them. Those little things are a blast.

One guy around here has a 347 stroker in a 89 B2. Talk about a nasty ride. The big problem is the rear ends. They want to hang out in corners and make these a real roll over candidate. We've had that B2 on it's side twice, just going to the river. His 69 Bronco, with 351w in it, does things most 4x4's won't do. It's a damn rock crawler if there ever was one. lol

Thanks Brew. I like that truck, but not the tonneau it has. It looks like a mouth at the top. lol Otherwise, that truck is quite nice and appealing. That must be a 6 inch lift, which is a bit much for a short guy. I think a 4 inch would be about the max I'd go, but that's just me, and I'm only 5.10. lol

Yes you can. It'll shoehorn in there. Some guys cut the upper part of the radiator core support to make it easier. But I've seen it done many times in B2's, Rangers, Explorers. There's even a few 4.6 powered beasts around.
