Yeah.... he is much much better off now from taking the other job closer to home.

I really appreciate that kind words and gestures from everyone. We are in good spirits and will be just fine, I do believe. A lot of people ended up much worse off than we are. Yall have a good day fellas.
I thought I would share a couple pictures of Anchorage at 730 at night. These are from a local broadband company who has some cameras set up on cell towers and such. It doesn't encompass the whole town, but gives a small view of Anchorage in October. I hope you guys enjoy.

I lived in Sitka for about 9 months in 1976 before coming back to Anchorage. There wasn't enough roads to drive or any distance back then, so it became a boring place for my wife and myself. She wanted to go back to Anchorage, so we came back. I have a few good pics somewhere of Sitka. I loved the place, per se, just not the road system. lol
