LOL..... OK, that makes sense now.

And remember this.... Punctuation is the difference between "helping your uncle jack, off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse".

Now that's funny Whitey. I've never ran around behind the barnyard animals, so I would of got it. LOL.

Decided I'm going up to FBX on Tuesday, so I'll stop by and check out the Fairmont then. I was doing a bit of checking around, and there isn't much available up here for them. I did find a nice interior in an 83 Mustang, and the fronts are in decent shape. I think they are the same color red in the other, so that might not be a bad thing, with console and steering column and shifter for 200. The column shift would have to go, and it column, because it has a bench seat now. Putting buckets and a console would make that little Futura a more pleasurable ride.

Good afternoon, Thinkers- That NAPCO is a cool old Ford!- ( i think id leave the 390 in it though)
The Mrs. had an’81 fairmont when we got married- i always thought it would make a great sleeper! But we traded it in on a newer car right after.
Dads funeral was Fri.- and he was buried with military honors- it wont be the same, but he is always in my heart- thank you guys for your thoughts and prayers during the last four weeks. I consider you friends i have’nt met, and thank you for your kindness and consideration. Bear.

Welp after 10days and 90+man hours the chair is completed.... not finished but completed! Still need to sand out some bumps and finish it to 150grit. Then I'll be putting a lacquer finish on it. But even if our baby girl comes tomorrow it'll be ready to use.

2100 Congrats on the new baby, Tomorrow. I take it that your wife is having a C Section to be so precise on when the baby is coming. Nice job on the rocker. I hope you used Gorilla Glue. LOL.

Bear......I'm glad your feeling better about what has transpired in the past week or so. Your Dad, he may be gone, but he will never be forgotten, and will always be missed. That's the good thing with a memory. We can go back and replay the good things and times we had with that person. I do it often with my wife who passed in 2011. But we move on, but we never forget.

Thanks! I couldn't believe it turned out so well. Took a class from a woodworker and that's what you walk away with. I did everything myself but he taught and showed me how to do every step. Learned a ton from him!

Oh no lol, baby girl isn't due until Sept 5. I was just saying it's Home now so IF she decides to come early (like tomorrow or any day really) it's ready to be used! We used an epoxy resin on the legs and rockers. The front legs and rockers each have a screw for overkill. The arms are epoxied on the back with a screw and the palm area is epoxy with a blind dowel. The rockers and back slats are just strips of walnut glued together in a form using tightbond II wood glue and the crest rail and seat pieces are glued together with tightbond II as well. It's amazing how strong the glue really is. The wood will break before the glue seam itself. The parts that were epoxied were mainly done so because of the extended drying time to allows us to get everything in place. Oh and the crest rail has 3 screws on each side too.
Ps sorry for the word vomit lol, like I said I learned a lot!
Pss if anyone wants to see more Pics or any in progress pics I have a ton of those lol

Parts of it are up on their Facebook page. I just heard of them tonight from you. Thanks for the lead.
