Thinking
Exactly. Apparently that makes me "retarded" for pointing that out? Can't believe we've got people still using that label.
I'm headed home fellers... I'll catch up again when I get home. TTYL!
Then we got another "start 3 threads per day" feller that asks questions... then suddenly becomes a professional on the topic after people respond. AK gives him a P/N, then oliver sudden he can find things.
Yea he's researching the info given, by AK or whomever. That's why it seems like he's a pro after the fact.
He's giving props accordingly as well. Not really a Skyler YET! He's learning/searching vs blowing off the info and what he doesn't understand. That's the way to do it honestly, when your clueless lol.
On the 4x4 Thread, he should test the vac harness before replacing. It just takes a cheap vac tool (harbor freight even sells them). You supply vac (12hg) to test and monitor for leak down. Then use methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) for an air tight repair. That's the Ford Service way. Harness repair kits come with with Mighty Vac purchases usually. It's cheap to fix those it right.
Btw, - the procedure is on the Ford Service and workshop DVD, under "Mini Tube repair ", Illustration/diagram ...if anyone is seeking the know-how. Kind of doubt that here tho lol.
