Well, today is 2 years since I brought lil Red into my life. He's come a long way. After the bumper gets put on next week, I'm going to go ahead and finish my chassis cleaning and painting, and then he is left to get a paint job. I think i'll do it in the spring, and just drive him this winter. Blue, to my regret, is going to be finding a new home. Some one will be lucky to get him. He only has 127k on the clock, full maintenance records before I got him, and runs and drives like a new truck. But, that is a couple months down the road yet. I'll put him up just before the first snow, that ways, he will sell quickly to someone who can't get around. It happens every year. lol Last minute shoppers.

Talking to guy I got the bumper from, he has a wrecked 03 truck sitting, with 38k on the speedo, and the truck was mangled. THe front clip was destroyed, but surprisingly the 2 row radiator lived. I got it for 25, now I just have to bring things home next week. I'm going north for the weekend, and my poor mustang is going to be a pack rat coming home. Glad the rear seats fold down.

2100.....kewl picture. Serine. We have a chitload of Dentsides up here in really good condition. Not as many Chevy's or even less Dodges, of that vintage still. An awful lot got eaten by the old road salts we used to use. Since we don't anymore, those are what are still seeing floating around. My old neighbor has a black 79 Lariat, reg cab, SB with the chrome bed trim. That damn thing is as pretty today as when he bought it new from Cal Worthington Ford. Maybe even nicer, since he changed the wheels to the 7 hole wheels. I'll get a pic next week when I get back and post it. His truck, I would love to own.

2100- Now that is a view!
AK- I hope Blue finds a good home. I'll be sad to see it go but whoever buys it will definitely get a great truck.

My friend posted a vegan version of fish and chips as a humorous/yuck post on FB. Got this girl on there arguing with me about the point of being vegan. Let's see..... you don't want to consume animals because it's cruel, but you want to pretend you are eating them? WTH? Am I the only one that thinks that is nutty?

What I find ironic is most of the cute animals those people won't eat, eat other animals themselves.....I see there some.....is hypocrisy the right word? Maybe not nut difinitely ironic.

I love animals, and I love plants just as much. If you're going to eat it and use it, that's hunting/fishing. Now, those people that kill the animals just for sport and throw them away......that's just as much murder as killing a human if you ask me

No, imo, if a person does not want to eat an animal, fine, but why would they want it to taste like an animal?- animal protein or vegetable protein- they are both living organisms- ( and a good garden salad goes great with a steak and baked potato!)-
