Now an XLT in Colorado
My wife is vegetarian (a vegetarian?) but not vegan. She still eats dairy and eggs. My meat intake gas dropped dramatically, and I think my health is better for it. In my opinion, the average American could *easily* cut theirs in half (at least) and we'd be a healthier society. Mother Earth would probably thank us as well. The amounts and types of foods we consume here in the States is quite different from those of the European and Asian countries I've visited.

We did Thai food the other night, she liked it, not I. Some kind of sugary noodles plus beef. Yea didn't care for it, let alone needing some type of spray adhesive for the forks. Tough getting that stuff to destination.

I eat 70% meat, 30% vegetables, and I'm the healthiest I've ever been. Very low carb intake.
I also have 2 straight years of blood work, and vitals showing my health improvements.
Nothing against vegetarians, or vegans. But I don't understand why you want to pretend you're eating fish... LOL. Ever had a fake hamburger?

I've had two versions... Garden Burger and Morningstar. The Gardenburger was an odd mix of stuff.... and the Morningstar was made of black bean. Black bean was better, but still off.
