Brew.... have you ever listened to Jeff Beck? I went and saw him on Wednesday night..... what a great show! Also saw Ann Wilson of Heart, and Paul Rodgers of Free/Bad Company.

Awesome show!

Time to hit refurbees and see if I can get her a better laptop at a decent price.
Congrats man, that's good to hear!

Thanks 2100. You guys could probably hear the sigh of relief from where you're sitting, lol.

I applied at Amazon to do some off hours work for them from home. They called me the other day and left a message. I might still do it, sounds like a pretty easy gig.

A remote gig with amazon wouldn't be too bad if a deal if it's not a huge draw on your free time.

It's supposed to be a "Work when and as much as you want" deal. It's 18 an hour to start.... which isn't great, but its good for part time.

An extra 200 a week couldn't hurt anything that I know of though.

Much agreed! Also heard an ad on the way home from work for Frito Lay for an industrial mechanic. Starts at 31 an hour minimum. I must say I am intrigued. We have a Frito plant and they are expanding to add Cheetohs.

Had a similar situation here a number of years back. Kind of like a gut punch when it happens, and you need to change your habits. Glad things have turned back around!

Thanks Ohio! I am glad too.... especially if I wind up down and out for a bit again. Been reading that in some cases, to relieve this issue I've got with my Piriformis muscle pinching my sciatic, a surgeon will go in and actually cut the muscle away from it. I'm ready to do it after a week.... holy **** this sucks.

I need to tough it out today.... it's time to do some maintenance on the Escape and 'Yota. It's been just under a year since I changed the ATF in both of them. The Yota has right under 20,000 on the ATF, and I was the first one to change it, so.... I want to get it done again. And the damn CD4E sure is a finicky bastard with ATF. Mine is starting to shift retarded like again. Every time I change the fluid it quits acting goofy for a year. For the record, the CD4E is not the most robust trans on the planet.

I don't envy you the back trouble, white. I hope you're able to get some relief soon.

The '01 Escape we had never had a lick or trouble with the trans, and I honestly don't think I changed the fluid in the 130K or so we put on it. (I know, shame on me.) We got rid of it with about 160K on the odo. Maybe we were just lucky. Or maybe I *did* change it, but it would've been only once. I wasn't very good at keeping records on that thing. (Again, for shame!) :blush
