I've always used Valvoline 75W-90 because it gets cold here. But some guys use 75W-140. The Valvoline says you don't need friction modifier on the bottle, which I always ignore. The Motorcraft FM is the best you'll find.

Mine also leaks on the pinion seal, very slow. Nothing hits the ground. But when I take out the D/S, there is always a little bit in the cup. Not too worried if the pumpkin isn't even wet, but I do have everything to replace it, lol.

Thanks, I figured MC for the friction modifier.... I'll have to look into 140 vs 90. We can get pretty cold here too. Might call the guy that cleaned up my rear diff and clutch packs a few years back and see what he used.

Yeah i crawled under there and pretty sure it's the pinion seal. It looked wet, nothing else does. Once I refill it we will see how slow the leak is. If it's as slow as I'm thinking I probably won't have to mess with it before I retire the truck... fingers crossed

Nope, said the same thing he did, 75 /140...but who knows which rear end you have. The rest was just past experiences...got rid of it. White had the numbers in there for yuh, for what-ever rear end you have.

First time your rims showed up white. All that was there , since you posted anyway, was just the paint supplies pick. There's two more pics now lol.

Btw , -Nice rims for the Stang!

Even though this is a truck sit...jk, but I'm sure you know that by now
