Whitey.....I'll take some pics tomorrow and PM you with them on the wheels. You can decide for sure at that time. I would today, but we've got gusts to 80mph coming off the mountain. I just went to the store, and I almost blew away. Hope that works. LOL

Damn, yesterday was something else. We had 100 mph winds come thru and lasted until this morning. We lost power the past 20 hours or so. Just came back on. The temp in the house was about 60, so it wasn't that bad. Good thing it wasn't winter. I would of had to pull out my Honda generator and use it to keep heat. WOW. What a mess behind me. Guys fence is spread from here to town, it looks like. Chit everywhere today.

We get some serious winds every few years, where it can go to 100 mph. They are rare, but living below a mountain pass, the wind comes thru there with a vengeance. There are 5 years that I can remember, other than yesterday. 1971, 1990, 1996, 2003, and 2011. 2011 left us without electricity for 5 days.

Whitey.....I sent you an email.

Whitey....50 plus whatever Delta charges for 5 pieces (that was a discount at 5 pieces)

Damn weather isn't cooperating right now. First these 36 hour winds and now the rain. It doesn't want me to finish the brakes on Red. i wanted to change the pads on the rear and rebleed the whole system. I was going to change the e-brake linings and hardware while I'm in there. Now to just get a warm dry windless day to do this. Nothing hard there to do, just need some cooperation from mother nature.

... cooperation from mother nature!- ha!- the temperature is finally starting to inch upwards here, but dang!, its rain every other day! the ground is so saturated the earthworms are wearing life vests!
Ive been hearing a very light scraping sound when i turn right ( kinda tinny sounding, and only on right turns). Thought maybe it was the right front break shield(?), on one of the rare nice days last week, i was driving with the window down, and realized it was coming from the left rear. I pulled the wheel to look at the clearance on the break shield- i found, what i thought, was a small rock between the shield and the bottom of the rotor- aha!- but it wouldnt pop out!- after blowing out with air, and a closer look, it was the bent up rusty end of the parking brake shoe retaining spring hanging out!
So when i went around a right turn, the shoes would displace enough to just touch the inside of the drum area.- one new spring and hardware kit and- ta-da!, no more noise!
So, yeah, good idea!,check your parking brakes and rotors/drums!
its the weekend eve!- you thinkers have a great day!

White still interested in the axle set up ? Waiting on the axle pilot bearing, - pulling the old bearing in the blind hole today, anyway, have it apart and brakleaned...all 3 axles pulled on the right side, could snap a pic if you want to see . Heading out there in a bit, let me know.

Highboy is running... getting ready to take it up to a buddy next week to help me with some rust repair. Put some clearance lights on that aren't dry rotted ($11 from HF but they don't look half bad) since it'll be sitting outside. Also put on my license plate.
