Damn, blew a line on the snowthrower attachment...first thing! Have to make another. It's frigid out here, currently 10* but going down to -15* tonight with wind chill. Checked the trailer out, it's still good, nothing frozen yet knock on wood. There's no skirting or wind breaker around the thing, if it's going to freeze it will happen tonight. I might stay out here for the night.

Lol full tanks of gas happen way too often to brag about. But yes, all 2s! Hopefully one day I'll see all 3s.

I haven't done the trans mount yet.... My give a damn to do it has been a bit absent lately with the cold weather, holidays etc. I also haven't been driving much this month. I'm probably going to knock it out on my next set of days off. As far as the crossmember that's cracked, I'm probably going to weld it up and find a way to make it a bit stronger.

Well that sucks Brew. Hopefully it didn't make a mess!

So.... I asked for this for Christmas. The Wife asked "did you really want the heavy duty one - because they had a 6 ton and a 12 ton?". I said "of course... I don't want some sissy press". Go big or go home. BTW, these are really good presses if you've never used one.

Been running Cat5 through my house and finally got sick to dealing with my old crimper. It wasn't fully engaging the middle 4 wires all the time, so I just ordered a Klein crimper. Also found some pass through RJ45 connectors again. I remember these things from years back then they disappeared. Way easier to work with IMO.

Only 5* INSIDE the trailer this morning. It's all froze up, lines broke the whole bit. Apparently the regulator went out last night. Or it just froze. Anyway it's a wash and a mess....bummer!

Dang sorry to hear that! Dropped down to 4° here last night. One toilet is frozen and I can really feel the draft in the front door I thought I fixed lol

Yea, it's cold, temps read 0 last night, before I called it a night anyway. Not sure how much colder it got. Suppose to be like this for awhile. I'm pexxing in a new line and thawing the regulator as I type. One good thing out here, -heated garage and I have most my tools here now. The reg might be shot, not sure yet.

How did that toilet freeze ? Draft underneath ??

I'll be dammed, that worked! The reg was just froze. The line is easy to replace, I'll let it warm back up again first.

All the pipes or hoses are sealed in a heated compartment but man, soon as that heat quit they froze right up. The problem is there's no skirting around the trailer. I'm not going that far with it, it has to remain totally mobile or what's the sense. I guess when I put it on property I could stack straw bails around it lol.

Well, I stocked up with those and that pricey crimper that goes with. I also have the Klein crimper that has very little use. It's a huge PITA to get a good crimp with the Klein. I also have on hand Gel filled DB Cat 5.

So I now have what you do in my arsenal white BUT, I haven't used the stuff yet. Well, I've used the Klein in the past with regular connectors...yea, that sucked. I stocked up this time with pass throughs and the fancy crimper (not sure I needed that) a few months back.

Such a PITA the old way, so how is that stuff working out, haven't put mine to work yet ?
