Thinking
Looks like we actually might get some winter weather here in SC. It doesn't seem like 4" of snow could be a mess but Releigh NC didn't do so hot with 2.5". Lol

Brew.... did the swap around help you out last night into today? With more bad weather coming to the midwest, I hope your unit doesn't freeze up again. Fingers crossed.

And yeah our -12 temps at night froze most of my houses water pipes. Both showers, all 3 toilets and 2 sinks. Luckily all the sinks and the guest shower thawed out. Master toilet and shower and downstairs toilet are still frozen. With the weather this week I dont see them thawing till Sunday. Praying pipes dont burst because I am on a plane to Buffalo today. The wife does not want to deal with that alone LOL

My house built in 94... we are currently letting faucets drip. That is how we got the shower and sinks to thaw out. The shower and sinks will be dripping until we get back up into the teens (we need at least one shower working lol). Should have done it a few days ago but just didnt think about it before we went to bed that night.
I just bought tickets to G3. All kinds of excited.
The three guitarists are: Joe Satriani, James Petrucci (my personal favorite), and Phil Collen.

That sounds like a blast. Probably see a lot of old farts there getting jiggy wid it lol. Nah, nice to hear he still playing/entertaining. I never got tired of hearing Joe play.
Yep, they plan is to getting it running but leave everything as is. Looks too good in its original state to mess with. Fenders and sheet metal are all rock solid. Engine spins freely so just have to do the usually maintenance things and she should be driving. My father in law specifically placed it there for a yard ornament until it runs lol. I think it looks right at home
What if I connected back up to a city water supply and let just the supply drip right before the connection ? The connection is insulated and heated, that won't freeze. Doing so would eliminate the need for my fresh water tank all together...which is freezing up all the time. I know my daughter is charged for water out there, but there's a cap. Guess I have to see what the cap is. Might be worth it.
I entertained other ideas, so your aware. As in a heat tape or heated hose, out of the question. So is installing a permanent water line below the frost line...out of the question.
Huh, think I'm going to try this.
