The old stuff (Lincoln, Cad, Buick, Merc, Imperials) all were big and heavy. They rode like a dream. Floating on the road. That was the way of the big vacuums. Must be why the GF rides an old bagger Kenmore.

Yeah.... they pulled themselves around, but they were heavy! Seems like most of the body was made of some sort of cast metal. It's been a spell since I used one. I remember how tricky it was to replace the belt on them.... that was always my job to replace it for my Grandma.

Anyway I voiced how well that little thing was built at a get together and ended up with it lol.
It's one of these in sort of a lime green, but hers/mine now is about 25 years old. Other than that , they look the same -

Finally re-installed my the upper cab head liner today. One less thing I have to store. Thank God I found my #7 magnetic nut driver or that grab handle side would have been fun. That little thing paid itself off 10 times over today.
