The van was delivered today with the 4R100. Customer is very happy! We found a history report (in the van) from several visits to a dealer and another shop all trying to fix it.

I can't even begin to tell you how many dryer elements I've put in the old Maytag. But, I will tell you that it's outlived 2 washers.... One Whirlpool, and one Maytag. I really think this Samsung washer we have now is the best washer I've owned.

EDIT: I got to thinking.... Amazon will be able to tell me the element count, LOL. Seven from Amazon.... and I think one local too.

You want a washer and dryer that will last? And be repairable?

Or just a lot better than the big box junk

Too bad YOU can't fix it.

Brew, I meant to show this to you. This is a "sub pack" within the Tugger kit. Do you recall if you got this spring (where it says "Blue") in yours too? It was in a bag, with separate instructions than the rest of the kit.

Whitey - Did you order those Husky ratchet straps from HD? Somebody really over-thought the packaging of these things!

Metal thumbscrews holding them to the cardboard backer? And what happens when one of them is stripped and won't come out?

I didn't.... I had them in my cart, then found a set under the back seat of my truck - still in the package. So, I decided I didn't need 8 new straps.

I agree, that's some overkill.
