I'd bet I have a couple dozed scattered between the truck, ATV, and garage, and everything from 250# "claw-style" pull-tights to ones you could hang a car upside down from for use with the dovetail trailer. These will probably live just inside the garage door for quick/easy access.

I was surprised how many I came up with when gathered and in one spot lol.

That screw deal is different, borderline strange. I don't recall those.

BTW, - are the thumbscrews metal ?

This reminds me... I HAD a link for a good $35 book on the 4R70W trans, which I lost. I'd like to own a good book on it, operation, rebuild, up builds at least alluded to. Anyone of you gurus know of a good book closer to 0 than $100? TIA

lol

I guess mine are stronger than I thought, - some of mine are just like that. Almost went and got my box of them. I have still yet to put them under the seat. There's a lot of room under the seat of 1 ton, takes a key to access the compartment lol.

I've send almost none more than a tenth as tough as we used delivering MC's after we repaired them in Spokane. 500 lbs is enough - until you have to nail the brakes or hit a bad road occlusion.

Jealous about having a 1ton. 🤢 Is the taller seat due to more under hood space to cool the engine compartment?

It says AODE on the front, but it's what we use for 4R70's too. It's a great book.... ATSG does a nice job.
