Lol it is indeed a real 2007 Pathfinder that has been sitting for months. I had to winch it up on the trailer due to the battery being so dead it wouldnt even take a charge. Its supposed to be my moms spare car but she sparingly drives it so it has developed some issues like cam timing sensor failure, traction control fault, and a blown macro fuse... not sure of the correct terminology there. but needless to say im trying to talk her into letting it go.

About 30 years ago my father couldn't give one of those away. I think it was called the same thing ..A Pathfinder. Dad fixed donated vehicles and gave them away for a short time on the side. For some charity.

It stuck in my head because it looked liked a new car vs the cars he would normally get to repair. He would get it running good enough, give it to someone, but to no avail, it would be back in the driveway after about a week. This went on for a long time...couldn't give that vehicle away lol.

You have been a victim of story time with jbrew....

hahahaha I don't mind a good story. My little brother drove this when he was going for his Dr in physical therapy at Marshall and it did really well for years. Then it sat the first time and a cat clogged up. We replaced that and it was fine for a while until 1 of 2 cam sensors went bad while my other brother was driving it. He didnt tell anyone and drove it that way for 2 months. It went to the shop again but hasn't been right since. I won't be surprised if the cam isn't chewed up if I'm being honest.

My little brother kind of the same way...ALA the engine is still there when he opens the hood. he's done his part for a CEL light.

We are kind of opposites, he knows nothing about vehicles and he's nice to people all the time, no matter what. He cracks me up, makes it impossible to pick on lol.

Mom never had car problems that I can recall. She was a leaser, mini vans then SUV's and now Jeeps lol.

Ironically, my 14 year old has an upper respiratory infection right now as well. She's negative for Covid, besides the fact she wasn't around my Wife at all during that week.

Get better soon my friend!

Hahahaha... that was funny. Not sure how I missed that one. I put a note in the comments of that video. If I don't get a response, I'll try a little harder to locate another method of contact. I don't think the trans he put it it was what he wanted. I think it's just a normal VB rather than a reverse manual VB. Those are great for crawling... the deceleration/engine braking is awesome with those.

How far are you from him? Probably too late now, but he mentioned yesterday, first one to stop by his place gets a free winch and tires.

sounds like i will be busier with the fire police, our station will be covering the neighboring town and township. Their captain had a heart attack yesterday, he is slowly recovering but he is out of commission indefinitely
