Remember, it's SIDEWAYS slipping, anti-spinout traction that is the benefit. I'll guess it add 5% benefit, 10 seems a reach. But in the dire dummy situations which folks seem to into nowadays, 5% might save 1 in 20. If the gov't tested and learned this and someone died, or worse, there'd be hoopdela and lawsuits all over. And THEN they'd make the shops so it anyway.

Germany has a very rigorous 1 yr driving class, a 1 yr additions first aid class, good Samaritan law, 200 question and 200 sign test. Passing, is 100%. GI's grew up with generations of driving so in the 1970's they were allowed to miss 10.

Run out of gas and pull over on the Autobahn? Someone might follow your car or lights and wreck. Running out of gas is a felony. I LIKED it. You get flashed from behind, you squeeze into traffic on your right. Folks WILL make a tiny, perfect hole for you, at 60, 80, 120, on up. A Lamborghini at 150-200 flashes about a half mile back, and doesn't slow down. I've a few more incredible stories. I've always said, they don't so much, but they do what they do very well. They end up driving very darn well. A family station wagon on a downhill decreasing radius off ramp... a perfect drift. And their engines tended toward anemic 4 cylinders, so no foot-steering. V6's were gas hogs. Gas at $5-6/ gal in the 70s. Partying is good for mental health so it's almost a national health requirement law to do so. No idea how bad it got when they reabsorbed the undiciplined eastern part. But they are almost carrying Europe, so I guess they managed. LOL !

I'll just leave it at this... the new tires on the front make this a much easier vehicle to maneuver through this garbage snow. Without a question to prompt her, the Wife thanked me because it's easier to drive now.

EDIT: I got the old Toro fixed tonight.... back in business with both snow blowers again!

Ray who runs it and a couple others are real gurus. Store owners, authors, studies, from way back. Some used to catch fish, breed, and supply big name stores. Nice as heck. Know scientific names. Blows my mind. But no question too dumb.

You wouldn't fix up a wheelbarrow because a snow storm is coming would yuh ?

Not in your worst Skyler moment.

LOL.... I'd sure like to think I don't have many Skyler moments. Although, he is legendary. 🤔

We got power back last night. The rivens were passed before midnight but the wind outside woke me up multiple times. I'm a heavy sleeper so that is no small feat. Lol

What region do you live in Noobs?

Never lost power. Had plenty of wind. Anything not paved is mud (or flooded) now.

Near Ivor, Va. Nearest big city is Suffolk. The flat, peanuts, cotton, soybeans, and hurricanes part of Va.

Our "squall" that we got was short lived. Last night I decided to go out and take care of the snow so it wasn't such a 8!tc4 in the morning. We didn't get any more snow after that... so that's a win.

I decided to make a video on the primer bulb replacement that I did last night, hehehe.

That sounds exactly like my surroundings in SC transplated to VA.
