It needs a lift, but this same section of trail was impassible in the F150, and today the 80 rolled right through like it was nothing.

Yea I was editing that last as you were writing this one. Looks like the drive-train is high centered (clearance wise)...I mean not much to get hung up on thru the center.

Yeah, it's about 10" to the bottom of the diffs, and about 13" to the bottom of the rear control arm mounting point, which is the lowest hard point. My F-150 is like 7" to the diff and 10.5" to the trans crossmember (lowest hard point. It's also over 2 ft. shorter in wheelbase.

Much fun on the trails. Had a little Toyota for a few years, think it was a 83 model if I remember right..22R engine 4wd lifted 4"...totally forgot about that truck until yesterday, someone brought out old picture albums. For the life of me I can't recall what happened to that truck. What I do remember, I was cut off and rolled it on it's side. Over revved the motor and bent the valves. That wasn't the end of it, replaced the 22R with Buick V6. What an improvement that was. Little light truck that went anywhere.

Damn RA, well I have 12 spark plugs now...4 more and I'll be set. This has got to be killing me in shipping. Guess I better sign up for their newsletter again to get the repeated customer discount, but most of all so they'll talk to me. No communication thus far...that's gotta be the ticket.
All I need now is a back bumper, maybe a camera and 3 sonic sensors. Ford touch, navigation and hot spot seems to works fine, will need to update to Sync III or is it 4, can't recall.. Although it's syncs right up with my phone. She'll be back in factory form. Then I'll be waiting on white to finish the AC for me

I'll do the rest at the shop most likley, in one shot. Liking that 6.2L more and more. Drove the 7three, that's nice as well, hard to tell the difference though. Definitely won't go with a diesel lol. Really not crazy about the 17 and up body style...the aluminum is appealing though.. This one is probably a keeper. If I timed it right, this one should take me all the way to the funny farm.

Change is picking up speed quickly. Sold the Excursion back in March, pretty sure I sold the travel trailer over the weekend, salvage should be picking up the 150 this week sometime, went back and forth on that for a few years now. The 1 ton turned out to be better than expected. Very fortunate there, still far into the green with that purchase, if it remains healthy. That was the big worry for many years, seams longer than it was. Glad i didn't wait to last minute with that. Don't want to be working on shiii when retirement comes around...just family fun...want to be done. Well, not totally,,mostly.

EDIT: Guess I should mention I ate it big time on the TT...did that one all wrong. Purchased it new, that the first mistake...second was going big, should of never considered a woman's input. It just grew and grew from there. We really never used it, it's only been moved twice from where it's sitting lol. Totally lost interest during the covid crisis. Folks weren't using them for fun anymore...rather as a last resort. Sad...and sort of put an ugly stain on those things that hasn't washed off.

I'd like to upgrade at some point.... I've always said I was going to drive the F150 until it dies. Not sure if I can wait that long, lol.
