Nurse told me she thinks its 4 now, but at least 3 new covid cases over last weekend. Might be a new strain was said as well. If so , yea it just getting started.... out here anyway.

On my last dose of Remdesivir (#5) now. Takes about 30 min to run through your system...then a Saline solution follow up. Once every 24 hrs 5 x.

If they lock you down, it's for 10 days after your first dose of this stuff. Quarantined, rather sorry... They aren't going to do that to me now, but they were this mourning. A lot of back and forth on that.

They also were not going to work on the other issues I have going on until that 10 day of quarantine was here. But again , changed their mind. This was going on last Sunday. I came in Friday morning...first one. The other 3 came in over the weekend. I bet hat's when they freaked. Makes senses anyway.

Don't think they are quite prepared for a new strain of this stuff.yet..how can you be.

Did it just hit you suddenly, Brew? Or did you have some previous symptoms? Glad you thought about the exercise program to help alleviate the congested lungs! I read this morning about two new variants. Michigan was specifically mentioned in the article.

Kind of a weird one last night.... My Wife was told she has shingles. I've only seen that happen to people in their 60's and up. Hell, she's a ways out from 50 still. I never had chickenpox as a kid, so AFAIK, I shouldn't ever have to worry about that.

You had chickenpox vaccine?
If not, you can get chickenpox as an adult.
You sure you never had c-pox?

Also, get the shingles vaccine now, just in case.
Should be free. Was for me.

Yep, never had it. 100% sure. My parents put us all in the same room, tub water... never took. I got a chickenpox vaccine when I was about 24 years old. That doctor told me that there are some people that never get it.

Guess I'll find out even further, because the doc told her last night that she's contagious.

Yea, can't go by what happened to me. Congestive heart failure was my pre- existing condition without covid. Something I didn't know I had. Covid put that over the top..

Deprived the organs of oxygen, almost destroying them. That was occurring slowly when I contracted it. So yea, I'm not a good comparison...nothing I say would matter for anyone else.

When I contracted covid, that multiplied fluid retention x something like 4 they said. That's all the virus wants to do is multiply, The heart could no longer handle the fluid. It's kind of fluke I made it through this.

Things got crazy this morning...no tests were done, was going into quarantine once again. Another group and family members were getting me out of there. Met by others on the way that said we were discharging him anyway. So yea, crazy, political for a bit....stupid stupid shiiii.

I'm home resting now, focusing attention on my health. I want no part of that battle above. What a shii show.

Prob should delete all this, it went a little ugly. unable to put positive a good spin on it yet. To bad, surrounded by good people the entire stay. ..really! It's what happened outside of that....behind the scenes I guess.

Btw- I'm quarantined to the house for now, not going anywhere.. I'm contagious until the day of Sept 3rd. The 5th day from last treatment. Actually I'll go a little longer just to make sure. Until my first cardiologist appointment, my food stores are being replenished, little bit at a time...some of this stuff I've never heard of...family can be great, first time I've actually felt truly vulnerable and honestly needed a little help. That does something to your insides..good things.
