That supervising position reminds of my dad who would ask for help on occasion and take that supervising chair once you got there lol.

I still have my old Bilstien front shocks if you need a set. They have about 40,000 miles on them though. But, there's nothing wrong with them.

I finally gave them away AK. I shouldn't have cleaned them up for the guy, I didn't know they could still look that way lol. I had a thick layer of wax on them and grease on top of that. Still had the original boxes and to my surprise, still had the original bushings in the boxes. Slipped my mind I didn't use them. Was able to put the band back on them as well. Good, the originals were shot. That's my good deed for the year lol, -

Thanks Brew for the offer. I put new Monroe Spectrum's all around. It was just the rears that were so damn hard to deal with. I had a hot wrench available if I needed it, but I did it manually. Fronts were no problem.

The guy and kid stopped by today again, when I was having a garage sale to get rid of some of my daughters stuff and some of mine. His kid wants my Red truck so bad, and since I washed it and buffed out a couple scratches, it looks so much better. That was even more mind bling to the kid. I told him I didn't want to sell it. This is one I wish I wanted to sell, because the money is there immediately and he has given me an excellent offer. I just can't do it.

Forgot to say Brew, my hangers/shackles still look good. Only surface rust on them right now. I looked at 'em when I did the u-joints, but forgot to hand in my homework.

BTW, the 28 dollar Amazon tails look pretty good.

The u-joints went in pretty good. I knocked them out with a hammer, and used my ball joint kit to put them in. I still have the Precision's in there. I am going to get Spicers or Neapco's. I've read on the web that some Spicer stuff is Chinese made now too. Pretty disheartening. Whatever I get, I don't want Chinese stuff. I'll do Mexico or Canada... not China.

Weather cleared today, so time in put in the new 14mm stud wheel bearings. I want to get this done then go ahead and install my Expy brake upgrade. I have the 14mm rotors ready, so all I need is the bearings put on today, install the brake rotors and replace the calipers/brackets and be done with the hard stuff.

Next up, Windshield and the little rear fender repair (damaged when it was delivered to me) and then Red will be done, that is unless I decide to paint him a different color this fall. The GF is not a Red lover, and neither am I actually in the bright. I like maroons and such. Maybe I'll shoot him a medium dark grey metallic with a slight pearl and slight tint. For some reason that just appeals to me. Maybe trim it out with Argent, maybe not. I'd have to see how it looked first in solid, then decide if I want to go with the accent. Decisions, decisions. I'd like to paint another vehicle before I'm too old to keep the gun up. lol. I hate when it sags. It happens to the best of us.

If I do paint it, I'll bet it will drive the kid out of his mind. I mentioned that to his dad when they were over last and I thought the boy was going to hyperventilate. I may have to install the "Club" on the steering wheel.

I think it would look sharp with a silver bottom on it. I'm not a red fan either, but it looks great with silver.

LOL, this kid is something else.

Doesn't Moog have U-Joints. I haven't looked around yet, I think I would look at Ford, Moog and see what NAPA has to offer. Ford joints may not include Zerks, but if they are still producing that same U-Joints I have in the 98, I'd have to go with them. Mine have to have some wear to them by now, but no kidding, I can't tell lol.
