Cman....When I bought the red truck, it had been broken into and the owner replaced all the glass that was broken. Whoever did it, forgot to do one important thing. They didn't tighten the 2 bolts for the window tracks. It rattled. Last week I pulled the panel and replaced the bad door lock actuator, and while in there, I found the rattle. I tightened them up, check the right side door, and all is well now. With the new SI/DO exhaust, it quite pleasant. Quiet as can be until you raise the RPM's. Then the nice, mellow note of the exhaust. I'm happy.

I just remembered. I was going to check to make sure that lil Red is equipt'd to handle the remote door lock panel. If the wiring is there, I think it is, then the new door handle goes on also, so I'll have panel unlock as well as key fobs.

My 10th gen is pretty good except on below freezing days on the interstate, passenger side gets a low howl; but my music usually drowns it out. Surprisingly when I added my sub I didn't induce any rattles either... now my hiboy is a different story... wish I had bears luck lol... if anyone was wondering why my final leg him with this truck had my feet frozen... well here's your answer hidden under layers of I don't even know what plus floor mats

Damn 2100.....that floorboard is like swiss cheese. What does the passenger side look like. It is probably worse. The rights almost always go first (road edge). Does Indiana use road salt like Brew says they do in Michigan?

I got rid of my F150 Crescent wheels and tires tonight. They went to a good source. Another 98 Ford SCab styleside. He's already thrown them on the truck and they look good on his black truck. They were so so on the red trucks. On the black they stand out.

Also a decent bit of wind noise around the doors too.
My dash rattles were right under the two tabs at the windshield and were just because the nuts loosened up a tiny bit. The front door striker is pretty easy to adjust too.

That was my fear but surprisingly only have a small edge rusted on the passenger side. The Highboy was bought new in Colorado then moved to El Paso after a couple years and spent the rest of its life there until I bought it a year ago... not sure what he did to end up with that one of the reasons I went to Texas for a truck was to avoid rust lol

But yeah indiana uses salt as well... my 10th gen isn't looking to great right now sadly; the rear door had a half dollar size rust bubble and the rockers are basically gone. I've kept my Highboy in the garage since I've bought it tho... don't need more rust on that one!

Edited for clarity*

I'd haul that one to the scrap yard, but that's me lol. How is the frame in back ? It just looks as though it's gotten to that point. I guess you get to that point where you refuse to deal with rust. It took awhile, but I'm there lol. What sucks is, I've gotten sort of good at it over the years....just can't stomach it no more.

But hell, IF the drive train is good, you can find bodies down south. IF you want to go pick them up.

Yea, that's the worst floorboard I've seen yet, lucky your toes didn't frost bite ehh. Hop out of the truck and your boots are ice blocks lol...good ole days.

EDIT: Worst Gen 10 floorboard anyway.
