A 1350 cross references to a 231/331.

EDIT: Maybe I'm going about this wrong...?

I'm showing 1330's on the front shaft and 1350's on the rear.

On a side note... my Wife and I went over to the credit union a bit ago. As we were driving out, we noticed a guy that was trying to get into his Ranger with a hanger. After we drove for about a mile, I told my Wife that I could get into that thing in under 30 seconds. She turned around.... almost daring me, LOL. I was in the truck in 15 seconds. Guy said he had been there for an hour trying to get in.

Needless to say, I locked my keys in my Ranger SEVERAL times. They are very very easy to jimmy. I can get into my F150 pretty quick too.

Yes... I am 99.9% sure these are correct, LOL. Waiting on AK to tell me if I am wrong.

EDIT: I've posted 4 or 5 in a row, LOL..... so I'll modify this one. I just thought I'd post the question and rely from Moog that I got.....

Where are your 231 u-joints made? I want to know the country of origin. What is the difference between Precision and Moog?

I will be happy to help you with that.

Moog manufacturer’s their parts all over the world so there is not a standardized location for a specific product. Most of Moog’s parts are still made in the U.S, but due to the high quantity of parts on the market, they have begun to outsource some parts overseas.

These parts are still Moog certified and carry the appropriate warranty.

The only way to be certain where the parts are manufactured is to check each specific box. we ship from multiple warehouses, and, if we have the part here we can check where they are made.

Just curious what you guys think about greasable vs non-greasable joints. My Buddy that does Jeeps and other off-roaders usually steer away from the greasable because they've got a hole down the middle of them (grease channels). I've always preferred the solid super strength joints.... just like the factory used.

I used Spicer on my Explorer, Ranger, and Mustang..... and that was the last time I did them. These Precisions lasted only 5 years and roughly 30,000 miles.

The driveshaft in my Mustang now is a Ford Racing shaft.... and I think it came with 1350's in it IIRC.

BTW, we hooked up about 8000 lbs to the old truck yesterday over at my brothers place, I even let Doc drive her lol. Ohhh, I should have got a pic of that lol. Anyway yea, I can't tell if I need joints. I was eyeballing them as she pulling forward and backing up. Man do those headers sound mean down low with some weight behind it. This old Ford will pull it no problem though, really glad I got those E load tires on there...she does squat a little. Well we didn't mess with it to much, - Mothers Day, had to get back to the party lol.

Looks like they're are going to have to build my trailer since I can't find one with double pane windows. Ridicules aint it, but those windows are a must for winter camping.

Sellers on Amazon will do that because some idiot will buy the first one he sees without shopping around. I wouldn't read too much into it. You'll see a huge range of prices on a lot of things on Amazon.

I don't know about U-Joints, but I thought that gave out at the caps most of the time. Well yea, I guess the grease channel feeds all the way through the joint doesn't it. Well, like I said ealier my Ford original non greasable joints are the best I've every experienced. The front end however, all the stuff that isn't Moog yet that didn't come with Zerks has Zerks now. I had to use my tiniest right angle grinder and a custom drill bit to install zerks in all the steering components, unless I removed them first. Wasn't up to a removal at the time lol. Also had to cut in purge holes in some of the boots. Just the boots that were too tight to purge or expel old grease. You definitely need Zerks for all the front end components.
