Are you evacuating?

No. Thankfully, I'm not threatened at this time, evac or pre-evac.

(We hear Morgan Freeman speak: "And with that, OhioLariat jumped from his chair and swiftly ran through the house, knocking on every piece of wood he could find.")

What is a 99 GT Extended Cab?

Ohio, stay safe! I'll knock on wood for you too. We had incredible winds on the 29th. That was my 20th anniversary... it made for a nice drive to SL for the day.

A friend of mine that lives up near Ogden (about 60 miles away) has had 28 inches of snow in the past 5 days. Me? I've had probably a total of 4 inches, but it's all melted. It's supposed to get to almost 60 tomorrow.

That's nearly 70 feet of snow. That's nuts!

Yes it is! The news just said it hit 811" at 6pm, and expects there will be at least 24" on Monday/Tuesday.

With the fires we've had, I think we're in for some flooding for sure.

How do you prepare for that ?

Kidding aside, they should have some sort of idea what's going to happen. How much of that 811" is still on the ground ?

Thunderstorms throughout the night , pored buckets as well....warm front moved in. Gonna shoot up to 70 in 3 or 4 days. From winter to spring that quick. Ground is super saturated out here. That's the way it's been for the last month and a half, either wet or frozen.

I went to find the snowpack total, and this is directly from Alta's page. I do know there have been a few controlled avalanche's that have taken place around the state, and I'm not sure if and how it plays into this.

After the weather has said all week that today was supposed to get near 60 degrees, I wake up to this.

But... these are the current conditions. Who do I believe? LOL.

I threw the dethatching blade on the lawn mower. Holy ****... that thing worked fantastic! I can't believe how much dead grass there was. Only did the front yard because it filled 1.5 garbage cans, and the back yard is WORSE.

Before

After

EDIT: Figured I'd put a "during", LOL
