We rented a "power rake" once. ZOMG it mustve pulled 2 tons of material out! Now we maintain via aeration.
I have so much snow mold/rot, and unfortunately it's a lot worse in the back yard. My house faces south, so the snow always melts a lot faster in the front. I really ought to go get some fertilizer now.
Do you guys have IFA's in CO? This 4 step program has been specifically formulated for Utah climate, and it works really well. I didn't use all 4 steps last year, and it used more water.
I have to get out and rake the yard.
I have small sticks down everywhere.
I use a fertilizer company, and they hit it 8 times a yr.
All the rain we got last night has already started it greening up.
While we were out there, somebody's damn dog was coming at us. I warded the damn thing off with a rake. He went down and went after my neighbor that was working on his car, and he warded him off as well. Another neighbor just posted pics of his leg, because the little mf'r attacked him. It also bit his butt. I just called animal control to tell them what happened over here.

Couldn't of been that little....otherwise...punt! Yea, some dog owners can be annoying as hell.
Thar she blows. Didn't get a pic of the dash piece. When I got home from the wrecking yard, my Wife wanted to run the thatcher over the back yard and just bag the dead grass... so, that's what I spent the rest of the night doing. I'm sore.
EDIT.... check this out. On the way home from the wrecking yard, we used my truck to take my Buddy's transmission build table over to his house. I look over at his panel, and see this $4!T. Back in September, he had a place install a furnace and A/C on his house. AFTER the furnace and A/C unit were installed they tell him his panel wasn't big enough, and it's going to cost him an additional 1500 to put a "bigger" panel in, and additional wiring for the A/C unit. Not only is this panel smaller, it's also quite possibly the shiddiest install I've ever seen. I also don't think this is legal. And... to boot, that 2X4 is held in with one screw. They stole it from his hydraulic press too... total incompetence.
