The rear pads/rotors have seated in nicely.

The brakes on this truck have never worked as well as they do right now.

Well, you wouldn't have to get out.....necessarily.

Unless the front was on stands as well.

It does look good. The front and rears didn't work very well together with the drum set ups...imo anyway. Well they wouldn't wear the same without working the self adjusters every now and again. Otherwise you would go through front pads with minimal wear on the shoes.

You had to remember to get the truck going in reverse and slam the brakes about 3 or 4 times to readjust. Or they wouldn't work after awhile. Self adjusters weren't greatest with the drum set ups.

Unlike the caliper set ups they went with in 99. You're lucky there.

How do your rear pads wear compared to the front ?

I get it, you have someone on the inside. Actual derby was yesterday.
Correct, it was last night. My neighbor had a family member in the same derby. And 3rd place went to someone local to me is what she told me. Not sure who it was yet. Lazenby lives in Tooele... so maybe?

I've only seen the pics my neighbor sent me, but they are all just bunched up together... can't tell who's who, or who's doing what, lol.

Nope. Just that wheel (which is why it happened in the first place). It was jacked just high enough for the tire to be off the ground, so it didn't feel "off" when getting in. And the jack was shoved under the truck. Usually I have it setting near the driver's door.
