At least it's not the trans.
I would be wondering why F licensed the excellent Aisin hybrid trans and have them built by Hyundai.
Hyundai has several large auto parts manufacturing facilities in Tijuana that supply many manufacturers in Mexico.
Hyundai don't get in trouble in Mexico for breaking child labor laws like they do in USA.
BMW, VW, heck probably all others get some parts from Hyundai plant in Mexico.
Edit: Everywhere in Mexico I've been is a great place. Mostly industrial facilities and the surrounding areas. If I bothered to learn Spanish it would probably be even better.
One time I went for a couple weeks (work stuff) to start up some machines and some of the locals took me out fishing in the gulf. Had a great time.
Food was great too. Not at all like Taco Bell. Good, fresh stuff.

i do know the mavericks are assembled in mexico along with the bronco sports, hermisillo actually where they used to assemble the fusions
Making decisions and going to organize the garage today.
My neighbor offered me $8200 for my 1994 Wide Glide.
But haven't decided on selling it yet.
And my buddy Bob just bought a 1963 Corvette that needs to be put together.
Black on black with a small block and a 4-speed.
It is coming here, but he also has a 70 Cuda that needs a gas tank installed.
Might have him drop the Cuda off then pick up the Vette and leave it in the trailer till the Cuda is done.
Truck now has 200K miles on what I will assume are the original O2 sensors. Prior to the #6 misfire, I was getting "P0174 - System too lean (Bank 2)," and blamed it on the sensor(s). Now I'm wondering if that code may have been caused by the intake gasket leak. At 200K,its not a bad idea to change them anyway, but OTOH, my 99 went 270K without a hiccup. If Ford hadn't built the truck around the friggin' things, I'd probably not question it, but given the hassle, I'm considering leaving them in and seeing what happens. Thoughts?
So did I waste money buying 1/2" fuel injection hose for the tank vent lines? Guy at AutoZone said I could use low pressure carb lines...asking because I barely had enough to link the rear vent and might buy another foot to replace it so it isn't so taut...napa was the only ones who had the fuel injected at ten bucks a foot.

. The lean codes could be anything tbh...vacuum leaks, fuel side issues with leaking injectors or a weak pump, a manifold leak, exhaust leak, etc.
I'm likely changing mine out when the weather warms up a little...junkyard hunting a manifold so I can really invest some time in porting/polishing.
Are the throttle bodies the same for 4.6/5.4? Wondering if a bbk is in my trucks future...assuming I'd have to get the upgraded MAF with it, and a 4" pipe, right? Read somewhere you could upgrade them without needing a tune.

You definitely did not need pressure-rated hose, but at least you used something fuel-rated instead of vacuum line.

Lol, fuel line was an obvi, but the last time I really reworked a fuel system was my old 68 Chevy C10.
At least the carb line will cost me a buck fitty vs ten bucks
At the time I was looking at the rotten stock vent line and thinking I wanted something that wasn't going to fall apart till the truck was dead and gone...
