Forgot to mention that the neighbors had one (yes, just one) of their trees cut down today. Still another one next to it that's half dead. Seems like a waste to not get it done at the same time.

Pics? Of the repair.

Just a reminder.

Not done yet, so far, -

Bedside rusted /snapped and dropped on the right, resting on the bumper currently -

Fab up and install gussetted stiffeners at each corner that run from the frame rail up the tail light housing, -

You'll fix it up good, Brew.

When I had my 88 Ranger, the front bed mounts rusted out, and you could pick the front of it up by hand and watch it dance when you went over RR tracks or large bumps. The first time it went "THUMP," it startled the heck out of me! I planned to set a 4' piece of 2" angle iron across the front in the bed and bolt through that to hold it down, but ended up selling the truck as-is before I fixed it. I think that angle is still somewhere in the garage some 14 years and a cross-country move later.

LOL, I haven't done this kind of stuff since I was a kid. Keeping the old farm truck running.... amongst other thrashers. Getting a little out of it I guess, still hate the rust. Fortunately there's enough solid metal there to make this work.

LOL, - Referring to the front, I mopped out the leaves up there about a hour and a half ago. They've probably been there 3 or 4 years...I have mice yes ?

Looks like I can't win. So are you going to use that angle iron Ohio ? Haha, pretty sure I have some...not sure what if anything to do there yet.

Jbrew, Looking forward for future updates.
Don't see people fixing much rust around here. If abed is rusted, just get a small patch panel or wrecking yard bed.
