Haven't been able to work on the thing again...yet. This showed up yesterday, the old had holes in it...which most likley assisted with rotting out that corner in the bed, - Family

Family picture day...what a drag

Got the Regal from hell in for a detail.
Back is killing me and the Regal is covered in overspray bad.
How come the pain in the **** jobs are always the ones you hurt your back on ?

Getting her done, just not in a very timely manner. lol

Made a GoPro video of the overspray on the car.

Ohio's doin' the 'shrooms!

Family picture day wouldn't be so bad if kids would just hold still and smile, LOL.

Dang Phil, that's rough! I can't believe how much overspray that has.

Like you said, CO, this primer if supposed to be some high quality stuff. So far I like it.

It actually helps us who are semi-newish to refinishing to hear your decision making processes; like to paint air-effects parts on the car or hanging.

My dad went through 2-3 hankies a day at dusty auto jobs. Eventually passed at 65 from drowning in his own lung fluids. Too soon, too hard a way to go. Some was no doubt, brake work, but silicas are v bad too. Mask up. Or use your shop vac or box fan and make a down-draft work bench. Frankie can't drive himself.

The reusable respirators are more comfortable. Purchase a case of cartridges, like say the 3M P100 or P95 for paint. Should have something on, they have some really good disposables now as well.

A huge undertaking, you got that right. You're getting it done, and damn good at it. Like Bill mention, protect yourself buddy.

I actually have a 3M P100, and some new cartridges - but this reminds me I need to grab a couple more. I used the P100 for primer, and it worked well. I bought it when I did my basement... so it's served me well.

Planning to ventilate the garage, and filter it with a furnace filter, and also exhaust out the window. I forgot to hit my Buddy up earlier today about parking the white stallion in his garage for a couple days. To primer, I put it on the RV pad - because I knew I'd be done in a day. I'm thinking I'll paint this coming weekend, and clear the following.

The guy over on Bonez Garage and I are both doing Fox's at the same time. He's gone a lot deeper than I have.... he completely stripped all of he paint off of his. I only got it to where I knew I was good, and called it. Both of us have exchanged "this was a lot more work than I thought it would be" messages.

I did find a couple minor things I need to tend to before proceeding. When I paint, I'm also thinking that I'll remove the wheels. That would have been beneficial for primer, but I just used some old towels.
