Long night, got the exterior of the Regal done.
I jacked my back up and had to keep taking hour long breaks.
Now I just have to dry it and buff it for it to rain before it gets picked up.

Good morning, Thinkers.

You have to love when you spend time filling out a complex online application on Saturday, and have a rejection letter on your inbox when you wake up Monday morning. Hmmmm... I wonder if it was parsed by a bot. Miss one checkbox, in their requirements, and "nope."

Well, that's why I'll be sending a LinkedIn message to the hiring director after I finish my Wheaties.

EDIT: The email came in at 1:02 AM. I doubt HR was working at that hour, regardless of the time zone.

That's exactly how the system works at my large company - if you miss one requirement, you're out. No human intervention.

I had a pretty decent interview on Thursday. First thing this morning I emailed the recruiter/HR and told her thank you. She responded within 3 minutes. Apparently, a lot of people applied for the same job. So, who knows, LOL.

Gotta strike gold soon, damn it!

EDIT: Ironically, one of the IT jobs I put in for sent me a link that does this when clicked:

Are you out of work or just looking to move up? Either way, I hope you get something you love.

That is the first level of the screening process.
Fix the link and you will get instructions to the next test.

Have you ever thought about lying? I hear it's what employers want nowadays. All the cool kids are doing it.
