Back in high school, my neighbor, about the same age as me had a dark brown cougar, I think it was 70. I recall it having like a checkerboard vinyl top, reminded me of a flannel shirt I owned. He was questioned about it, just said that's the way they made it. Very cool looking car though...specially with the wheels he had on it, chick magnet for sure.

Only bad thing about it, as good as it looked on the outside, the underside had severe rust problems. I mean the floor was bad, the trunk was almost completely rusted out underneath. That car was a looker though.

I could take a toyota apart in a body shop with basic hand tools. Phillips screwdriver, 10 and 12 MM sockets, a trim clip removal tool, and a T30 torx bit(i still actually have a piece of tape around my T30 from the body shop) usually got the job done..Ford's...i needed my whole damn toolbox it seemed lol

If we don't embrace nuclear energy I don't see much hope of ever making the switch nationwide. I was watching the TFL series on the new lightning and really would love one but it seems for my foreseeable future it just doesn't make sense... unless I install a charger at the office and at home.

Yeah Brew, if he gets one, I might be getting called upon. He wants a SBF for it... maybe an AOD. He misses working on SBF's.

Well damn... now I won't pass the quiz.

We call them the Klopek's. If you've ever seen (my favorite movie of all time) The 'Burbs, you'll know what I mean. Just a weird, weird bunch. This morning, as I was leaving for work at 5:00 am, I opened the garage and I could hear tree branches breaking. Their 13 or 14 year old daughter was out on their front lawn breaking branches off their willow tree, and throwing them on the ground. Nobody else out there.... and when she saw me, she darted into the house. LOL.... just an odd bunch.

I watched that video also. At the charging station they went to had power at $.43 per KW. At that rate it would be a breakeven in fuel cost (with fuel averaging $5 around here) for my 2020 F150. My 2020 also has a 700 mile range on a full tank rather than a 200 range they were getting.

They made a lot of stops at walmart. That would have made me broke if I had wife with me a a truck bed to carry crap.

So not an option yet.

i remember when i traded my ranger in for the current F150. My fiance said that means we can take more stuff when we go on vacation right

2 years ago when we took my mom to SC for her 60th birthday i had just gotten the ranger a few months prior. That poor 5 foot bed was jam packed front to back bottom to top and we still had more crap in the cab
