I imagine he told you he just needed the actuator. Perhaps he thought the parts he didn't use could be sold separately. Worth a shot rather than wasting them imo....doesn't hurt to ask.

He probably didn't know that..he's not the parts guy. Not sure why else he would do that, unless you guys are into scamming one another over there lol.

I assume good intentions first.

What a d-bag, LOL.

Just stopped at Maverik a little bit ago. It's in downtown SL, and this particular location literally has to have security to keep the pan handlers from bothering customers. Anyway... I was standing in a rather long line. Same damn person was at the register for several minutes, so they opened another register. I get up to the next register that opened, and the same damn lady is up there rifling through her purse "looking for her money". Turns out, she got a bag of chips and some chocolate milk. Ate nearly the entire bag of chips, and took a few honks off the chocolate milk before getting to the register to pretend she'd forgotten her money.

Apparently that scheme is pretty common at that location. The security guard told her not to come back.

Curious... have any of you guys eaten at "The Old Spaghetti Factory"?

Their broccoli with browned butter and mizithra cheese is sooooo good. Just had some for lunch. Geez, that stuff is like crack.

Security guards at a convenience store?
We have Wawa and Sheetz similar to Maverik. Never seen a guard in one.
I guess that's life in the big city though.

Maybe the guards are sleeping in the back?
