Is SPECTRA a brand you all find you can rely on ?

Do you think it's ok to buy a SPECTRA fuel filler neck on a 10th gen F150 ? Or go OEM ?
any one ever have issues with SPECTRA parts ?
I've put in a SPECTRA fuel tank and fuel filler hose.
They seem decent quality.

Nope, - as for the filler neck hoses, they'll last two years if your lucky.

I've had good luck with the Spectra's radiators, but I put one of their distributors in Frankie and the damn thing was made too tall and damn near messed up my cam gear.

Probably never buy anything else but a rad from them.

Their tanks are okay, they just don't come finished and they're more expensive than the finished type lol.

I agree with the Spectra fuel tanks being good.

Really ? 2 yrs life expectancy for a Spectra filler neck ?
Damn, got to go to Ford and get a price now.
RA is out of stock on motocraft.
Motocraft Filler Neck length is 13"
Spectra is 18" length...

Probably more work to fit the Spectra correctly ?

No, not the filler hose.
I'm talking about the Entire Filler Neck setup.
The part the gas nozzle goes into.

For the two filler neck hoses you need SAE 30R6 or 30R7 hoses. Gates has them.

Or you can purchase the Motorcraft Kit. I've seen them on Ebay in the last few years.

Then go with the motorcraft kit. I've never seen them sold separately though....but if you can find them....

The Spectra hoses aren't properly rated...they aren't rated. Their filler neck isn't finished either, - they spray it with a cheap primer that will rust quickly if you don't paint it properly.
