afternoon. probably will be staying late at work tonight to work on some warranty claims. Want to do them when there is no interruptions. So far the kid is working out but he is like a lost puppy following me everywhere and always at my side.
I'm glad that he wants to learn but its too early for him to be concerned with GP% and the other numbers that get thrown around, i told him baby steps and lets get the basics down first and get your online training finished, I did catch him going through my email, I put a stop to that real quick
When I would help my Dad, I was absorbing every detail that I could. Then I started hanging around my friend's house and his Dad had a 1928 Model A. He had built a fairly mild 302 for it... I want to say he told me it was 175 horsepower, but it was so light that it really hauled butt! Anyway, he sold that and bought a 32 or 34 fiberglass body, and rounded up an original frame. I watched and absorbed him build that one.... it was a 351W with a C4, and an 8" rear. It was probably a low 13 or high 12 car.
This was also his 93 GT... and as you can see, I've been influenced by it as well.
Found a pic of his 32 or 34.... can't remember which. This pic was taken with my first digital camera, BTW.... and Olympus 1.2 megapixel camera. It was one of the first digital cams that had an optical zoom.
We had an elderly lady hit the gas instead of the brake today.
She drove into the front of one store at an angle and then thru the wall separating the units.
Only minor injuries that I heard of.
