AK,
I parked on a 15% grade and run the truck with heater open for 25 mins...
Coolant Level in degas bottle rose and fell a bit, never saw "air bubbles" per say.
I doubt there's any air in there, although upper rad hose was not super hot to the touch.

I'd have to say drive that bad boy and see what you have. If the temp stays normal you have cured the problem. If it keeps doing it, you will need to go deeper into why. Hope it cured your problems.

I've got everything fighting against me. Big accident on I80, blocking my route to SLC to see me Dad. Decided to tough it out, and battle traffic. So.. we all piled in the Escape and the damn righr rear tire started throwing a low pressure code... went back home to put air in it, and it's got a bigazz cut in it. So, I put the spare on. Got done, and get a severe weather alert with 70mph gusts possible, then hear a shi ton of sirens headed down SR36, lol. Oh...and another big fire by the airport just started.

So, I'm sitting on my couch at home

Is there any credence to the belief that mixing different brands of gas in your tank allows for a broader variety of detergents in the fuel system that could do a better job on cleaning carbon differently ?
Some would say that mixing different detergents might be counter productive. ?

90% of those 'detergents' are just snake oil. A marketing ploy. Just stick to high quality name brand gas from a fast moving station
