How do you make sure you rid the cooling system of air on a 10th Gen F150, coolant has already been changed...
Is opening Degas lid after vehicle cool down enough ?
I noticed bubbles when opening lid slowly a couple days ago after vehicle sat for 20 mins.
Raise the front of the truck or put it nose-first up an incline so that the front is up about 12 inches or so. Start the vehicle and let it idle with the bottle cap off. You will purge any air that is left with the angle and force of the pump and gravity doing the rest.

Heater core open during this process ? (Panel heat open) ?
Once the air is burped, and operating temp reached, do I shut off the vehicle and screw on the lid to Degas reservoir?
Or do I screw on the Degas bottle cover while vehicle is still idling?

Have the heater on, so it purges any air in the core. Run up to operating temp plus about 10 minutes. Lower it, put the cap back on. Make sure and check the level hot. Then check the level cold If you don't have a head gasket problem, then this should take the air out.
GRF.....why are you posting this here as well as your own thread you started? It's impossible to keep up with you. Post in one and stay there with that/those problem(s). It's better and easier for everyone to follow.

OK. Thanks.
Should I Shut off the vehicle before putting cap back on?
Sweet ****... I don't know where I'm reading what now. Fan clutch here, burp there, heater over there.
So that Bondo bumper repair kit is a highly recommended kit to use. I am thoroughly impressed. The Upol stuff is decent, but I still will roll with 3M as my preferred choice.
Also got the ridges around the front cover all evened out. It had a mold line in it...
I'll tell you what... my shoulders were killing me from all of the sanding. So I put some Theraworx on them, and it calmed right down! I love this stuff.
