The last thing I looked at was a super duty rear emblem/camera but every time I look at anything the pricing is outrageous.

I found the emblem for $100 for F150, but that's still 2/3ds of what a new one would cost.

Car-part.com doesn't sell parts. They're a lookup database for the *yards* that sell parts. Prices will be all over the map depending on the part, condition, rarity, and location. If you want cheap, U-Pull-N-Pay is about as cheap as you'll get, but it's a craps shoot whether they'll have what you need, and you have to go hunt for it (and remove it) yourself.

Hate to say it, and, as a COMSEC guy, I HATE Clouds, but - They can stymie the odd bad cop or assailant from just stealing the camera... and evidence of wrong-doing. (What a very inarticulate word-,phraseology.) Cops, Seals, all believe in backup.

Ideal is to let "them" think they "got-the-goods." Then, smoke them in court. Inside cams are often mounted, and noticed, on windshields... and, taken, for evidence, but, "it had no useable data." A back window is a thought. It catches most, plus, mph. Not as easily noticed.

My other is an 8.1 Android, and both can see this camera on them and with the WIFI they can also be seen on your phone with the App..

Think im going to buy a new battery for the ranger, starting to crank slower and the lights go off during that time. battery is over 4 years old and just sitting around wasn't doing it any good. Plus I've really been driving it. I did just test it and it came back having a 50-60% charge

Understood. Hence the question.

The date code on the one I just replaced was 2014. I guess I should be elated!

I still watch Motorweek whenever I come across it. Goss' garage always annoyed me though. His info was often crap like "we'll show you how to get maximum acceleration from your car" and then the answer was "make sure your floor mat isn't under your gas pedal". That was a real segment he did and I'll never forget it, C'mon! I don't wish him ill will, and I hope he went peacefully, but that drove me nuts.
