I would use Marle first, Felpro second. Marle made Ford's gaskets for years.

I just looked at RockAuto on those Felpro for the discount. They are a close-out item. The regular price is 38 each. 9790PT2 and 9792PT2 for $12 each is a steal if they in fact are the blue permatorque gaskets. If they are black they are the knockoff versions carrying Felpro #s, like the Ultra-tec, which are those.

Fel Pro 8.8" Ford is $6 and has a ❤️ indicating it's a popular choice.
A Fel Pro for $6 and a Fel Pro for $38 is a huge difference.

I'm sick of this new third-world economy where everything is out of stock. I figured out which radio I want for my truck and they're out of stock everywhere. It's just the latest thing in a long list and I've had it!

No thanks. I've been dealing with it on a daily basis professionally for just as long (or longer). It's exhausting!

a lot of times, ford doesn't service hose clamps. Most of our listings for hoses says, clamps not serviced dealer to improvise. Just because a dealer parts website says its not in stock doesn't mean its not available. We only stock about 100 grand worth where i am simply from a room aspect.

All that was going on already a year ago. I spent more time waiting on parts than I did on all the maintenance I put into my truck.
