Masking tape is a good idea. No idea why it works, but it does.
Also, w a craft knife and a new blade, scoring on the line will cause smaller splinters to break off at the line. I do a first pass w a depth 1/10th inch. Blade wants to follow this to a large degree on the 2nd/final pass, making the work easier, and surface splinters are less likely. Cut all 4 sides if you are good, but no pro, or have the wrong blade. Use no crosscut blade, even if a fine tooth.
The laser printer had been refusing to draw up paper off and on. It's pretty old, so I cleaned the rollers with Simple Green and water which seemed to help for awhile. When it started again, I roughed them up a little, and ordered a $16 can of roller cleaner/rejuvenator. Over the weekend, I cleaned them up really well, but an hour later, my wife said it wasn't working again. That's when I (finally) noticed that the rear "paper size" adjustment in the tray had moved back about 3/8" which allowed the paper stack to shift rearward, away from the pickup roller.... but only if the drawer was closed with some amount of force (hence the intermittent nature, *and* why someone else in the house had more trouble with it than I did.) I adjusted that back up to the proper position, and it's now returned to working 100% of the time. Of course, now I have $15.95 worth of roller cleaner I'll probably never need.

LOL... I love buying things you know you'll use once, then wind up throwing the rest away. Tonight my daughter ran over a screw. So I just went over and bought rubber plugs just so she can get to school tomorrow. The tire shops were all closed. I'm not a fan of plugs, but in pinch they'll do. So yeah... I'll probably wind up tossing all the rest of them now.

I have no idea how many of those rubber-coated-rope plugs I've installed over the years, but I've never had trouble with a single one of them. The only tire I remember having professionally patched was one that took two plugs in the same hole to get it to hold air. That one I decided to have fixed correctly.

Those plugs can have an effect on balance is all. I've never had one not work, but a lot of "tire" guys don't like them, lol.
So Lizzy posted a pic of herself, her Dad, and Matt on IG. She was getting asked a lot of questions about if she is related to Matt (she's not). Some ding dong said "how do you explain how you, Trevor, and Rudy have the same last name then?". Lol... they all have "Morr" in their IG names, so that dude thought their last name was Morr.

There used to be a plug with a mushroom head that was inserted using special tools, from the outside - no unmounting required.
The local Jag dealer couldn't patch a hole in a costly tire, though they dismounted it and used an inside patch, saying, "These are just temporary.and never seal 100%." I said get the boss. Then I showed them how to do it.

Well , that free 4 day shipping from ebay didn't pan out. I ordered back on the 20th, I think it's safe to say it's not coming lol. It wasn't the merchants fault, USPS lost the package...it's under investigation. Bit the bullet and purchased from Amazon. The part has been discontinued some time ago, so it's hard to find.....Amazon had a Merchant with a lot of "new, old stock" parts, so lucked out there. It cost more going the Amazon route this time.
