I am thinking of moving to the other side of the mountain behind my house. It will add about 20 to 30 minutes to my commute... but it's a rural area, and I can get a much much nicer home for less money than Salt Lake.

The goal is to put it up for sale in April.

Nice! If it isn't built yet, spec 2x6 perimeter walls. Look into it, t hey are a very nice upgrade.

Personally, I enjoy seclusion vs suburbanite. Not everyone's flavor I know and puts you futher out, but....no neighborhood crap to deal with.

 

LOL.... the fence is down. I kept my word, and he has so far as well. However, selling the house will trump anything that happens from here out.

On the story I posted earlier, police made an arrest last night. Drug deal gone bad. I've seen the little ba$tard$ driving by and thought they looked like riff raff.... I'm not surprised at all.

 

Well April isn't that far away. Hopefully the move will an exciting one.

 

One perk to moving over there to that county is no emissions is required on cars, and right now there is a bill on the senate floor to eliminate safety inspection. Soooo.... I've got that going for me, which is nice.

 

So hopefully one day, you can be unsafe?

 

LOL.... whoever proposed the bill claims to have done studies that cars with safety inspection are no safer than those without. AFAIK, the only numbers they are using are based on accident info from insurance investigations. Not too sure what I think about it, but the state put a cap on the charge so the shop can not charge over $15. Not a big deal to me - I keep my cars in good shape.
