That's a good idear. But there's no escape from some of those stores like say Bed ***** and Broomsticks from Beyond or Koals, it's all clothing and toiletries. I did attempted to split and found myself pausing in the shower curtain isle, -might be useful as a decorative tarp. Something has to be done here. If she would hit a mall, then I could find a sears or something...or at least a sporting goods store. A bass pro shop might give me a tickle lol. Perhaps I should chain her to my belt buckle fro a few.

Well, I believe this is the final straw. It's time to put the house up for sale. These little bastards moved in down the street from me last summer, and I could tell they were hoodlums. At 11 pm last night one of them got shot and killed.

No doubt! Too much riff raff moving in the neighborhood. It was full of older people when we moved here 13 years ago, and now that they've passed on, things are getting ugly. Time to step it up a couple notches anyway. I need a garage....

Damn. Pull up, talk, then blast away. Yep, time to move or take back the neighborhood.

Yeah.... I've already talked to a real estate agent about putting the house up. It's worth double what I paid for it 13 years ago, so I am grateful for that at least.

I saw this video, and while I know that the fellars in this thread know these things already, this is still a really cool video. I watch this guy a lot, even if I already know the subject, because he goes into good detail.

Jbrew, you are just full of information and yes generally any degraded wire is a pia to find and fix. I'm actually considering pulling the harness and routing a new wire in its place for the full length but I'm in no rush. Lol

RC I'm glad too. My mileage is already creeping up on the 16 mpg mark.
Do you mean to say, - jbrew, your ate up with this shiii...

If you can get ahold of Ford terminals and the correct style crimpers (takes a little bit to learn how to crimp Ford terminals, so practice when patience is at it's peak), you can swap out the whole deal with a new one. It's a little less cannibal looking under the hood. All Ford connectors can be completely disassembled (case your unaware) and re-pinned.

Mini breweries, bars (a couple shots), then perhaps coffee. You know, I went along with shopping thing because I thought it was just a once in awhile thing, that's been the norm. I've done time, - was married for 10 years. She gives the old stuff away (not so old) and replaces it. Feel that pain yet. The thought that crossed my mind when at the furniture store was 'where is she going to put this stuff '? Well , that's what she does. This may be never ending. Have a feeling, once the new car smell wears thin, I'll elect not go... shoot, what am I'm thinking, new car smell is gone, all I smell is her damn Yankee candles.

Yea, I'd get working on finding a better location or find someone to assist in doing so. Before your neighborhood becomes less undesirable and you can't sell. Home borrowing (loans) have changed with different options. This doesn't apply to your situation, but financing a home is much easier now than what most of us remember starting out. Both my daughters have acquired their own homes now. My youngest who doesn't make much money yet, part time, still in school and just reached 22 years of age. She obtained her first home, (doesn't have occupancy yet, but close) was totally financed, no money down through what's known as a Rural Development loan. Many advantages to that vs renting. Everything about it is cheaper than renting, plus they get to earn equity that might help covering student loans if need be. Quite an advantage once school is finished and it's time to relocate. Well, it cuts me some slack anyway lol.
Anyway, it's a plus plus for younger folks starting out in a lower income bracket. Thought I would mention it in case some of you guys have siblings in the same situation.
