The big news here is that there is an 83 EXP that is close enough to still running that it needs a part.

Rear spring hanger is being done on Tuesday, Garage I normally use only have lifts designed for UK cars so couldn't lift it safely to get it apart, Garage on Tuesday have a 5 tonnes 2 post lift so should have no problems.... (as long as they can get the bolts undone... I did warn them that they were 20yr old originals...lol)

Not gone any further on the seal yet, I'm actually considering having a LSD put in the back as we tow our caravan (RV) with it and last year was interesting on occasions on wet grass.

If I go that route, I'll get them to do bearings and seals at the same time...

My Buddy had an EXP... I'm guessing it was an 84. Guess I could ask him, lol. Anyway, he bought it as a project back in 91-92ish, and had to rebuild the motor. Ford was not good at building 4 cylinders back then. Buying Mazda, in my opinion, really helped them learn a thing or three about 4 cylinders.

I paid much less for it though.... wow...

Wow, wasn't Blaupunkt a decent brand in the 80's or maybe early 90's? Seems like they were cool when I was in high school.

Yes they were, Buck0. I thought I was hot shiz because my Audi had a Blaupunkt deck, LOL. I have some of their speakers in Frankie, and The Eight Nine. They are a great bargain if you just need mids and highs from them.

So... Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree has done some remix's of some old songs... quite a few of Jethro Tull's. Man, I gotta say that this sounds absolutely fantastic! Wish I woulda known they existed before just recently.

A little article on what he's doing: https://www.soundonsound.com/people/...classic-albums

EDIT: Damn... another fine job on 25 or 6 to 4.

Hey,.They are not a bad thing, now & then. Order if U gotta. Wait 3 weeks, if you gotta. *I* like RainEx. Next yr (or 2-3,) buy one a tad long and cut the extra "dickweed," off, if I have the parleyance, correcta'-mundo.

FWIW, I do use their windshield washer solution.
